Employee timekeeping for managers with a tight budget

Put clock-ins, break records, review questions and the payroll handoff into a routine your team can follow.

Spend less effort reconstructing the workday

A manager often receives hours through several channels: a written sheet, a message and a verbal correction. Individual employee records create a common starting point. Employees can review their own recent hours; managers can inspect the company’s entries.

Keep corrections fair and understandable

A missed punch is a record to resolve, not a reason to erase work. Confirm the actual time with the employee and preserve a reason for the change. Review the result before approving it.

Make the routine visible

Show employees a complete example: sign in, start work, record the appropriate unpaid break, finish the shift and check the confirmation. Include an alternate record for failed punches or missing connectivity.

Give the owner a useful buying recommendation

Base the recommendation on a completed sample handoff and the whole price at your employee count. The cheapest headline is not automatically the least work. Include training and review effort without turning hypothetical time value into a guaranteed savings claim.

Questions from small teams

Can employees access everyone’s hours?

Employee access is scoped to the signed-in person’s records. Company managers use an administrative workspace with role checks.
