Small teams need a clear way to record hours, discuss a correction and get the reviewed records to payroll. That is the product’s focus—not becoming a complete HR, benefits or payroll-tax platform.
What we are building first
The free pilot focuses on employee browser punching, recent-hour visibility, manager review and a worked-hours export. A useful end-to-end workflow matters more than a long checklist of promised features.
Where we are today
Gates Timekeeping is early-access software. Paid billing, native app-store releases, paired shared kiosks and verified offline punching are not generally available. We publish these limits because choosing a timekeeping system affects real people.
