Employee time tracking for event teams

Keep setup, guest service and cleanup visible in the workday—not lost behind the event start time.

Make the workday easier to reconstruct

Event staffing changes by the day. A venue may have early setup, a long reception, last-minute helpers and a cleanup crew finishing after midnight. Those are exactly the situations where handwritten totals become hard to verify.

A simple workflow for your team

Employees use their own sign-in to clock in, record breaks and clock out. The manager checks incomplete entries and reviews completed hours. Employees can see their recent records, so a question about a shift can start with the same information.

Be clear about the pilot’s limits

A shift can cross midnight. Review the complete record and check which pay-period boundary applies before the payroll handoff. A published event schedule is not a substitute for actual employee hours.

A low-risk way to try it

Pilot one small event while keeping your usual records. Confirm that everyone has an individual login, knows how to record a break and knows who will correct a forgotten clock-out. Review the next day while details are still fresh.

Questions from small teams

How big a team is this for?

Gates Timekeeping is focused on companies with up to 30 employees. Start your evaluation with a smaller group and use sample records.

Will I need a new payroll provider?

No. The pilot produces a worked-hours CSV for review in your existing payroll process. It is not a direct vendor integration.

What does the pilot cost?

Early access is free with no payment card. Planned paid tiers are listed separately on the pricing page; no automatic charge is enabled.
