Open shifts and shift swaps without the group text

Let employees ask to pick up an open shift or trade one of their own, and approve each change in one place. Nothing on the schedule changes until a manager says yes.

Open shifts that employees can ask for

When a shift needs coverage, leave it open. Employees see open shifts on their Schedule page and can ask to take one. A manager approves or declines the request.

That keeps coverage questions out of group chats and makes sure the person who ends up on the shift is someone you chose.

Swap requests with a manager decision

An employee picks one of their own shifts and a teammate to trade with. The request lands in the manager's requests queue, where it is approved or denied with the schedule in view.

One queue for requests

Swaps, open-shift requests, time corrections and time-off requests are reviewed from the same requests area, which keeps small-team admin to a short daily routine.

Questions from small teams

Can employees approve their own swaps?

No. Employees submit the request and a manager approves or denies it.
