Set up jobs in a minute
Managers add a job name, optionally tie it to a worksite, and archive it when the work is finished. A job can also carry a short list of tasks to describe the work.
Employees choose the job at clock-in
On the clock screen, an employee picks a worksite and a job before tapping Clock in. If they choose a worksite, only that worksite's jobs are shown.
Labor by job
Reports break hours out by job and by worksite, which makes it easier to compare what a job took with what you quoted.
Tasks are listed under each job, but employees do not pick a task at clock-in yet.

Does it do job costing with wages?
Gates reports hours by job. It does not apply pay rates or run payroll. Cost calculations stay in your payroll or accounting process.
