A weekly schedule board your team can read
The manager workspace shows the week as a grid with your people down the side and the days across the top. Add a shift, change a start time or remove one without leaving the board.
Shifts stay in draft while you work. When the week looks right, publish it in one step. Employees then see their own shifts on the Schedule page instead of piecing the plan together from text messages.
Conflict checks while you build
Overlapping shifts for the same person are flagged as you schedule, which catches the common mistakes that cause a double-booked crew member or an uncovered morning.
Because the schedule and the time clock share the same records, a late arrival can be compared with the planned start instead of someone's memory of it.
Open shifts and swaps on the same board
Leave a shift unassigned and employees can ask to pick it up. An employee can also ask a teammate to swap a shift. Either way a manager approves the change, so the board stays the single source of truth.
Questions from small teams
Does scheduling cost extra?
Scheduling is part of the Gates pilot workspace. Launch pricing is flat per plan, and final paid availability will be announced before any charge.
Can employees see their schedule?
Yes. Once a manager publishes the week, each employee can see their own upcoming shifts, and any open shifts, on the Schedule page after signing in.
Does it replace my payroll provider?
No. Gates records and reviews hours and exports a worked-hours CSV. Your payroll provider still handles wages, taxes and payments.
